Mrs. Cori Jones

Hello! I’m Cori Jones, and I am delighted to be the 5th-grade English Language Arts and Reading teacher at Lotspeich Leadership Academy. I hold a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from Texas A&M University-Kingsville and a Master’s of Science in Education. Currently, I am pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, driven by my passion for lifelong learning and commitment to educational excellence.

With a specialization in EC-6 education, I firmly believe in the potential of every student to succeed. My teaching philosophy emphasizes recognizing and cultivating each child's individual strengths and adapting my instructional strategies to meet their specific needs. I strive to create a dynamic and nurturing classroom environment where students feel supported and motivated to achieve their best.

I was honored to be named Lotspeich Teacher of the Year for the 2022-2023 school year by my colleagues, a recognition that underscores my dedication to creating a positive and impactful learning environment.
