Clarissa Barrera

Welcome to Lotspeich Leadership Academy! My name is Clarissa Barrera, and I am excited teach 5th-grade Science and Social Studies. With a passion for exploring the natural world and understanding our history, I am dedicated to providing an engaging and enriching learning experience for my students.

I believe that education should be a journey of discovery, where students are encouraged to ask questions, think critically, and connect their learning to real-world experiences. My goal is to create a classroom environment that fosters curiosity, promotes active learning, and supports each student’s individual growth.

In addition to teaching, I also coach volleyball at Seale Jr. High. This role allows me to support students in a different capacity, helping them develop teamwork and discipline on the court, which complements their academic achievements.
