Debra Carrion

Welcome to Lotspeich Leadership Academy! I’m Debbie O. Carrion, and I am honored to be a 3rd-grade English Language Arts and Reading teacher here at our school.

I was born and raised in Robstown, Texas, and am proud to call this community home. My educational journey began at Robstown High School and Del Mar College. Shortly after, I was inspired to join the U.S. Air Force, where I proudly served for 7.5 years in Arkansas, Spain, and San Antonio. After starting my family, I chose to return to college and completed my Bachelor of Science with a specialization in Reading at Texas A&M University-Kingsville.

Teaching young children has become my true passion. Every day is filled with wonder and delight as I witness the natural curiosity and thirst for knowledge in my students. I am excited to share the fascinating world of learning with them and am committed to providing the best educational experience possible. Our children deserve nothing less than excellence, and I hold the responsibility of shaping their future with the highest reverence.  I am eager to make a positive impact on our students' lives and contribute to their journey of discovery and growth.
