Ms. Norma Soto
Welcome to Lotspeich Leadership Academy! I’m Norma Soto, and I am excited to be your 4th-grade Science and Social Studies teacher. My educational journey includes attending Pan American University, Texas Southmost College, Texas A&I University-Kingsville, and Del Mar College. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master of Science in Guidance and Counseling. Additionally, I am certified in bilingual education and have an early childhood endorsement.
My teaching philosophy centers on the belief that every child possesses unique potential. My goal is to cultivate a nurturing environment where curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning can thrive. I am dedicated to creating a classroom that is inclusive, respectful, and empowering. By recognizing and valuing the diverse backgrounds and learning styles of each student, I aim to tailor my teaching methods to meet individual needs and foster a strong sense of belonging. I believe that education is the cornerstone of a healthy, happy, and successful life.
Outside the classroom, I am involved with Kairos Outside, an organization dedicated to supporting women in need. I am also proud to be a recipient of the Robstown Education Foundation Grant, which has helped enhance the educational experience for my students.
I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to inspire and support our students in Science and Social Studies and look forward to a fantastic year of learning and growth.
