Applications can be downloaded and filled in
on your computer or printed out directly

here. You must print and complete
the application and any additional documents
and mail or fax them to the Human Resources
Department. To receive an application packet

8.
How do I fill out an Adobe Acrobat
Application?
Adobe Acrobat is computer software which
creates Portable Document Format (PDF)
documents. This allows documents with
complex formatting to be distributed
electronically without losing it's
formatting. The RISD Applications are all in
PDF format and, using the free Adobe Acrobat
Reader, these applications can be printed
out for faxing or mailing. You cannot save
edited PDF files with the Adobe Acrobat
Reader program but you can with the full
version of Adobe Acrobat.

Yes, it is required that you fill out an

What happens to applications once they are
received by Human Resources?
The applicant will receive a confirmation
letter from Human Resources once an
application has been submitted. It is not
necessary to contact the Human Resources
office regarding the status of an
application. Once an application is
complete, principals and/or department staff
will review the application file for
employment.
